Pine Creek Rail Trail: A magnificent trail that winds along the Big Pine Creek with over 60 scenic miles for biking, hiking or cross country skiing. You can access the trail just 3 miles from our campground and if you really feel up to it it's a fun ride on Little Pine Creek Road to get to the trail - but you better have your legs ready - some of the hills are pretty challenging!!

Little Pine Creek/Big Pine Creek: The Big and Little Pine Creeks are stocked trout streams located close to our resort. Little Pine is located directly across the street from our resort and feeds into the lake at the Little Pine State park then empties into the Big Pine Creek 4 miles downstream in the town of Waterville. When the water is high enough both creeks are fun for kayaking, canoeing, and tubing. Here is a link you can check to see the water levels on the Big Pine Creek in the town of Cedar Run - this is a good gauge to check to see if the water is high enough for the activity you want to do http://newweb.erh.noaa.gov/images/ahps2/hydrographs/cedp1_hg.png

It is 25 miles to the city of Williamsport. Along with many fine restaurants there are seasonal tours and shows. The city is most famous for being the home of the Little League World Series. Also the Lycoming Mall is only a few miles from Williamsport.

The Pa Grand Canyon is a few miles outside of town. Or you can visit the Animal Land Zoo or go on a family scenic train ride on the Tioga Central RR. There are many fine restaurants to pick from and seasonal events such as the Laurel Festival in June or the Dickens Christmas in December. There are also bike races and a 10K race along with parades, and many nice gift shops.
