This
beautiful log home rests secluded from the campground next to a
mountain stream. The Happy Acres Lodge sleeps 21 people.
Downstairs it has 2 full baths, 3 bedrooms, a laundry room, a fully
equipped kitchen, a large dining area and a large living area with TV/
VCR
and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Upstairs there are 2 more
bedrooms and a game room with fooseball and air hockey. The home
has a wrap around deck that looks over the stream, with a barbecue
grill, picnic table , and deck chairs. Outside is a gazebo and a
covered bridge that crosses the stream, along with a small cabin that
we call the Kids Lodge. This little cabin has a single bed bunk
bed, a small table and chairs, it is heated and has lights and
electricity! Your children will have fun in their own "cabin"
while being safe and comfortable. You can see a picture of this
cute cabin on our About Us page. The Kid's
Lodge is only available for those renting the Lodge. The Lodge is
where to go if you want a luxurious,
peaceful setting with lots of privacy and room for your whole family or
lots of friends!! There is 1 queen size bed, 5 full size beds,
and 7 single beds and a pull out couch. All our bedding is new
and covered with
plastic, you bring your own linens.

For a
romantic setting come stay at our Bear Hugs Cabin. Our idea
of a honeymoon cabin, this cabin has a jacuzzi tub in the
bedroom. It is decorated with an assortment of bear accessories
to make it a cozy cabin for you to enjoy. This adorable log cabin
that is a display model for a line of log cabins that you
can custom design for your own vacation home. See our current
events page for more information about these cabins!! This cabin
has 1
bedroom, a loft area, a full size futon in the living room, full
kitchen and bath, a fireplace and deck. It will sleep 6 people
(if you really want to bring the kids!!) but is the perfect cabin
for a honeymoon or anniversary couple, or for any special occasion you
might want to celebrate!!
The Elk Ridge Cabin

brand new cabin
This
brand new cabin is still being set up but will be ready to rent in
early July. Set on a ridge along Acorn Drive, the cabin has high peaks
and open ceilings that resemble the high rack of an Elk therefore we
named it the Elk Ridge Cabin!! Decorated with the Elk theme this
cabin was built by the same company that built the Bear Hugs Cabin. The
Elk Ridge Cabin has one bedroom with a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. If
you like the Bear Hugs - this romantic cabin has even more living space
and is a perfect setting for a couple or a family with children who
like to climb a ladder and sleep in a loft! There are 2 lofts
for sleeping, one larger one with 3 single bed mattresses and the small
loft has one single bed mattress, plus there is a pull out sofa bed in
the living room. This full service cabin has a full bath
and full kitchen, TV with DVD, gas grill, heat and air conditioner.

Owl's Nest
We have started construction
on our newest
addition called a Yurt. This will be named the Owl's Nest and will be
available to start renting in July or August. A Yurt is a
circular,
peaked roofed dwelling
with
wooden lattice walls, covered in canvas. These innovative walled
tents, adaptations of an ancient shelter used by nomads
for
centuries, are
creatively engineered and aesthetically pleasing in our mountain
setting. The Yurt will have 1 bedroom, a
full bath with a Jacuzzi tub and shower, a kitchen and a pull out
sofa in the great room, and a covered deck. I will post pictures
of the inside as it
is finished. This will be a very special camping experience that
couples or families will enjoy. The dome on top is like a big
skylight and with the picturesque setting in the pine trees I am sure
this will be a big hit. We plan to put two more yurts up in the
future.

These
2 side by side cabins are fully
renovated with new kitchens, baths, and all new appliances and
furniture. They each have a big picture window looking over the
beautiful mountain scenery and this is the reason why we call them the
Mountain Views!! These cabins sleep 8 people with one
bedroom that has a single bed bunk bed and a double bed bunk bed with a
queen size sofa bed in the living room. They each have a deck, a
fireplace, a TV with VCR or DVD, a gas grill, a picnic table and a fire
ring. With everything
being brand new including the beautiful brand new tongue and groove
walls and new flooring these cabins are spotless. Again the
mattresses are new and covered with plastic and you bring your own
linens. 
The Mountain Dens are 12 single
rooms that sleep 4. They each have a double bed bunk bed, a
small refrigerator, a TV (some with VCR) and a small table and
stools. They have heat and A/C. Outside you have your own picnic
table and a fire ring.
These rooms have brand new wall to wall carpet and have been totally
renovated. They are located near the bathhouse.
This tiny cabin can sleep up to
6 people. It has one
bedroom with a full size bed and a single bed bunk bed. The kids
will enjoy climbing into the loft area which has a full size
mattress. It has a full bath
with shower only and a small kitchen/dining area with a small
refrigerator, 2 burner stove (no oven), microwave, coffee maker and
table. It has TV and heat and A/C, a deck, picnic
table and a fire
ring.
The Hummingbird has a
new look!!! We have renovated this cabin with a new metal roof,
new log siding and new windows. The hummingbirds love the new
look are are enjoying the many feeders around this cabin. This cute
little cabin
sleeps 6 and has a full kitchen
and bath with 1 bedroom that has a full size bed and a single bed bunk
bed. There is also a full size pull out couch bed in the living
room. There is a TV, a porch and patio with a picnic table and a
fire ring.
This is a cozy little
home that sleeps 4 with 1
bedroom with a queen size bed and a full size pull out couch bed in the
living room. It has a full kitchen and bath, fireplace, central
A/C , a TV
and a deck, picnic table, and fire ring.
NEWLY RENOVATED!!!!! The layout of this cabin is unique because it has a bedroom and a full bath on either end of the home with the kitchen and dining area in between. This design is perfect for couples or families that want bedrooms and bathrooms with privacy. With new log siding on the exterior and pine tongue and groove on the interior this rustic cabin is a great setting for a vacation!! There is a double bed and a single bed bunk bed in each bedroom and a full size pull out couch bed in the living room.
