For a special mountain wedding experience!!

If you are looking for a place to hold your next special occasion, or you wish to have a mountain wedding, check out this page. We feel we have a unique setting to offer you at Happy Acres.  Whether you are looking for a small private wedding or party, or a larger celebration, we have a variety of options for you.  Below you will find pictures of two very different celebrations that were held at our resort.

Wedding Pictures April 2006

Skip and Tina were married in April of 2006 and enjoyed a simple reception at our
Happy Acres Lodge.  They chose to make their own food for the celebration and after being married off location, everyone came to the Lodge to help them celebrate the wonderful occasion.  They decorated the Lodge deck and gazebo, and held a small family and friends reception.

Wedding Pictures August 2008

Rachel and Mark were married in August 2008.  They were joined by family and friends from all over the country. They chose to rent our Lodge and the Bear Hugs for the weekend and their guests were welcome to make their own rental arrangements.  It turned out that most of their guests rented cabins or rooms from our resort.  The women held their bachelorette party in the Lodge on Thursday night while the men had their party outside around the campfire. On Friday evening after the rehearsal, the grooms parents hosted a picnic at our pool pavilion catered by our Happy Acres Restaurant.  On Saturday, being blessed with beautiful weather, the wedding party walked across the covered bridge, where the bride and groom exchanged their vows as the guests all watched from the deck of the Happy Acres Lodge.  Then they all gathered at the Happy Acres Restaurant for a fun filled celebration, with a DJ, a bartender serving their own beverages, and a buffet supper.
It was a beautiful celebration weekend, in a peaceful, fun atmosphere where all the guests had plenty of time to spend with the bride and groom  before they journeyed off into this new phase of their lives.

Trevor and Jerilyn Hinkle Wedding September 2010


Trevor and Jerilyn stayed at Happy Acres Resort and had a beautiful day for their wedding on  September 25, 2010.  They held a small wedding ceremony at the Little Pine State Park Lower Bottom area of the park and then had their reception in the Hollow Circle at Happy Acres Resort.  The reception was in a large tent and was catered by Hillside Catering from Williamsport.  The newly married couple enjoyed a perfect autumn afternoon  with their guests and the reception lasted long into the night as they enjoyed a campfire with friends and family.
